Every call answered.Every job booked.

An AI agent on a real phone number that answers while you’re under a sink or up on a roof — at seven in the morning, after close, and on the third call while you’re already on the second. It doesn’t take a message: it takes the job — booked on your calendar, confirmed by text, dropped straight into Jobber or Workiz.

WHY IT MATTERS

The phone does not ringwhen it suits you.

It rings from a loft, from under a sink, at half past ten at night, and three times over while you are already on a call. Every one of those is a job — or a job somebody else takes.

It rings at 2am

A burst pipe does not wait for opening hours, and a homeowner standing in water rings the next number on the list.

Voicemail is a dead end

Most callers never leave one. The ones who do are usually dialling somebody else while they wait for you to ring back.

One line, one pair of hands

The third call arrives while you are already on the second, halfway up a ladder, with the first one still on hold.

Details that never make it back

The address on the back of a receipt, the urgency remembered wrong, the quote nobody followed up on Friday.

THE TRANSFORMATION

From a missed call to a booked job, inside one conversation.

The agent picks up, works out what has gone wrong and how urgent it is, checks your live calendar, books the visit, texts the confirmation and files the lead — while the caller is still on the line.

CORE CAPABILITIES

A front desk that nevermisses the phone.

Everything your agent needs to hold a real conversation and get the job on the books — not just take a message.

Answer

Answers while your hands are full

Your agent picks up on a real number at any hour — under a sink, up a ladder, or already on the other line. No menus, no hold music.

  • Knows gas from a leaky tap — emergencies triaged, urgent jobs flagged
  • Callers can cut in mid-sentence — it stops and listens
  • Greets your regulars by name, drops it if it’s not them
  • Answers in the caller’s language, or detects it automatically

Book

Takes the job, not a message

It gets the name, the address read back, what has gone wrong in the caller’s own words, how urgent it is and how to get in — and puts the visit on your live calendar during the call.

  • Books against live availability — on the built-in calendar, or Cal.com, Calendly and Google Calendar
  • Your business’s timezone: the slot they hear is the slot you get
  • Moves and cancels existing bookings on the line
  • Texts booking links and confirmations while it talks
  • The lead lands in Jobber or Workiz, your calendar, or your own API

Follow up

Calls back and follows up

Run outbound campaigns for reminders, quote follow-ups and confirmations — or fire off a single call from the dashboard. It always opens by saying who it is and which business it’s calling for.

  • Quote follow-ups, appointment reminders, confirmations
  • Rehearses against a simulated homeowner before going live
  • Stereo recordings, transcripts, per-turn latency, daily cost charts
  • Several trades — or businesses — from one login

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps from a ringing phoneto a booked job.

No integration project, no telephony expertise, nobody in the office. Most trades are taking calls the same day.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Sign up, name the business and tick the services you cover — drains, panels, roofs, whatever you actually turn up for. One account can run several companies, each with its own agents, numbers and knowledge.

    Services ticked

  2. 02

Let the AI learn your business

Give us your website and the platform researches it to build a knowledge base: what you do, where you cover, your hours, your call-out fee. Review it, edit it, add your own documents.

    Knowledge base built

  3. 03

Get a number, pick a voice

Claim a phone number and choose how your agent sounds from hundreds of voices — the voice sets the language, or you can let the agent detect the caller’s automatically.

    Number claimed

  4. 04

Go live and watch it work

Point your line at the agent — the whole thing, or just the after-hours and overflow calls. It answers, takes the job, books, texts and files the lead while you follow the transcript, the actions taken and the running cost.

INTEGRATIONS

Plugs into the toolsyou already run on.

Jobber or Workiz for the job itself, calendars for the slot, automation platforms for everything else, and signed webhooks when you want the agent talking straight to your own API.

The lead lands in Jobber before the van door shuts.

While the caller is still on the line, Vocarium files the job — name, address, the problem in their words, how urgent it is — straight into Jobber, or into Workiz if that is what you run on. No retyping, no lost sticky notes.

VOCARIUM CALENDAR

A booking calendarcomes in the box.

Most phone agents can only book if you already pay for a scheduling app and wire it up first. Vocarium brings its own — set it up in your dashboard in a couple of minutes, and your agent starts filling it in on the phone.

VOCARIUM CALENDAR

It books on your calendar, not on somebody else’s.

Your services, your prices, your working week and the people who do the work all live in one place in your dashboard. The agent reads it live while the caller is talking — what’s free, how long the job takes, what it costs — and writes the booking straight back.

Two callers can’t take the same slot: every booking is written under a lock, so the time the agent just offered is still there when it puts the name against it.

Already on Cal.com, Calendly, Google Calendar, Jobber or Workiz? Connect those instead.

Nothing to connect

No third-party account to open, no keys to paste, no permissions screen to sign off. Answer two screens — your hours, what you offer, who does it — switch the tools on for your agent, and it can book.

Built for a phone call

Twelve tools made for talking, not for a booking form: check what’s free, book it, find what someone already has, move it, cancel it, read out your services or your menu, quote a price, take a collection or delivery order, look it up, cancel it, and text a code when they’re ringing from a different phone.

No seat fees, no booking fees

It comes with the platform. Add every service and every person you have — you pay for the call, not for the calendar and not per head. The one thing that costs extra is a verification text, if you switch that on.

Two shapes, one wizard

A menu of services done by named people, for salons, clinics and trades — or covers and party sizes, for restaurants and cafés. Pick one at setup, change it later, and the agent’s tools change with it.

Your hours, your clock

Working weeks, buffers, notice periods and time off are yours to set, and every time is read out in your company’s own timezone — so the slot the caller hears is the slot you get.

One dashboard, not two

The week grid is in the same dashboard as your agents and your call history — no second login, no second bill. Booked, moved and cancelled all email themselves out to the customer, and you get the alert.

GUARDRAILS

Autonomy you can actually leave running.

An agent that can book, text and call your APIs needs limits it cannot talk its way around. These are enforced by the platform, not by the prompt.

  1. 01

    Confirm before it acts

Consequential actions can require an explicit confirmation before the agent runs them.

  2. 02

    Hard messaging caps

Per-call and per-day SMS limits are enforced by the platform, not by the prompt.

  3. 03

    Spend from prepaid balance

Anything past your plan’s included usage draws down a balance you topped up yourself. Empty balance means paused, never invoiced.

  4. 04

    Never prices the job

The agent quotes only the figures you have written down — a call-out fee, a diagnostic charge — and nothing else. It does not invent a price, does not promise an arrival window it cannot see, and does not talk anybody through a repair. The technician prices the work before any of it starts.

PRICING

Metered

as AI usage

Building your knowledge base is metered like any other AI usage.

Past the plan, your balance is the ceiling.

On the free plan that balance is the whole of it. Top up from $5. When it reaches zero the service pauses instead of billing you — no overage invoice, no surprise at the end of the month.

3350minutes of talk time

Approximate: the top-up divided by the typical all-in talk-time rate above. Minutes included in a plan cost nothing on top; texts, phone numbers and AI research draw on the same balance.

Create your account
  • Cancel any time
  • Auto-reload if you want it
  • Per-unit metering in your dashboard

Top up. It draws down. It pauses. It never invoices.

Plan prices are billed to your card and can be cancelled at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and the account then returns to the free plan. Usage rates are indicative and vary with voice, language and destination. Included outbound minutes apply to standard-rate destinations; calls to pricier international routes still connect and draw on your prepaid balance instead. Exact per-unit metering for every call, message and number is shown in your dashboard under Usage.

FAQ

Straight questions.Straight answers.

The things people ask before they hand over their phone line.

STILL DECIDING?

Start with one number.Keep the rest as it is.

Plenty of trades point only the after-hours line, or the calls that overflow while everybody is on a job, at an agent. Read a few transcripts, then decide how much of the phone you want to hand over.

  • Confirmations and caps the prompt cannot talk around
  • Prepaid balance — it pauses instead of invoicing
  • Every call recorded, transcribed and costed

How fast is setup?

Most trades are taking calls the same day. Create your account, tick the services you offer, let the AI research your website into a knowledge base, check what it found — your service area, your call-out fee, your hours — then claim a number and pick a voice. The slowest part is usually deciding what you want the agent to say when it cannot help.

Does it work with Jobber?

Yes. The agent finds the caller in your Jobber client list, creates them if they are new, and files the request with the problem in the caller’s own words, the urgency, the address and the access notes — so the lead is in Jobber before the call has ended, not in a notebook by the van. Connect it once from the Integrations page and every agent on that company can use it. Creating the request is gated behind a confirmation the agent cannot give itself.

Does it work with Workiz?

Yes. Paste the API token and secret from your Workiz developer settings and the agent files each call as a lead or a job — the caller’s name and number, the address, the problem in their own words, the urgency and the access notes — while they are still on the line. It recognises returning customers by the number they call from, and when they ring back it can find what is booked, cancel it, or ask your office to move it. Filing and cancelling are gated behind a confirmation the agent cannot give itself.

What does a phone number cost?

$4 per number per month, charged to your card as a subscription of its own — separate from your plan, and separate from the prepaid balance that call time, texts and AI usage draw down. Claim a number when you need one; releasing it cancels that subscription.

What does it do with a real emergency?

It stops selling and starts helping. A smell of gas: leave the building and ring the gas emergency line. A sparking or smoking panel: keep away, and the fire service if there is smoke. Water near outlets: the main shut-off, and the breaker only if it is safe to reach. In all of those it books nothing and takes nothing — the point is to get somebody clear, not to fill a slot. Everything else that feels like a crisis but is not one — no heat overnight, a burst pipe already shut off, a lockout — is an urgent job: the agent takes it and marks it urgent.

Do I need a plan?

No. Every account starts on the free plan and stays there until you choose otherwise — top up a balance and your agents work. A paid plan is for when the phone is busy enough that buying minutes up front is cheaper than paying for them one at a time: it includes a monthly allowance of call time, and calls inside that allowance cost you nothing on top. Once the allowance is used up, calls carry on and draw on your balance exactly as they did before.

What happens if I cancel?

Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account goes back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing stops answering: your agents, numbers, recordings and knowledge base stay exactly as they are, and calls go back to drawing on your prepaid balance. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period — one click in Billing.

What happens when my balance runs out?

If your plan still has included minutes left, nothing happens — those calls do not touch the balance. Otherwise service pauses, which is the whole point of a prepaid balance: there is no overage invoice and no surprise bill at the end of the month. Top up and your agents resume, or set auto-reload so a threshold you choose tops the balance up for you and a busy week never catches you at zero.

Can it actually take actions in my systems?

Yes. Agents check calendar availability, book the visit, look up and cancel existing bookings, send a text, file the request in Jobber, and call your own HTTP endpoints through HMAC-signed webhooks — so they can read from or write to your systems mid-call. For anything you have not built an endpoint for, connect Zapier or Make with one webhook URL and the agent hands the caller’s request straight to 8,000+ apps. Consequential actions such as booking and cancelling are gated behind a confirmation the agent cannot give itself.

Will it recognise someone who has called before?

Yes — it greets returning customers by name and picks up the thread from the last job. It treats the number as a hint rather than an identity, though: numbers get shared, reassigned and spoofed. So the agent offers what it remembers instead of asserting it, and if the caller says that is not them it forgets the lot for the rest of the call.

Does it speak my language?

Agents cover 16 languages — English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Turkish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and Armenian. The language follows the voice you pick, so choosing how the agent sounds also decides how it speaks. If the neighbourhoods you cover are mixed, switch on automatic detection and the agent answers in whatever language the caller opens with.

Is my data used to train AI?

Your calls are processed by AI, speech and telephony providers because that is how the service runs — audio has to be transcribed, a model has to generate the reply, and a carrier has to carry the call. We do not sell your data and we do not use your call content to train our own general-purpose models. Your knowledge base is only ever used to answer your calls. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Do I have to replace my current phone system?

No. Plenty of trades point only the after-hours line, or the calls that overflow while everybody is on a job, at an agent and keep everything else as it is. Start with one number and one use case, and expand once you have read a few transcripts.
